UPCOMING MEMBERSHIP ACTIVITIES:
*** April 4, 2020 UPDATE ***: The 2020 Spring Ceremonial and Reunion Weekend have been postponed do the the COVID-19 public gathering restrictions. The Potentate and Divan are currently evaluating future dates. We will announce the new Spring Ceremonial date as soon as possible.
Friday, June 19, 2020: CANCELLED in accordance with the Nebraska Grand Masters Edict (#3, May 18, 2020) cancelling Masonic activities in the state due to the on going COVID-19 pandemic.
Friday, September 25, 2020: Friends Membership Information Dinner hosted at the Tangier Shrine Center, 2823 S. 84 Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68124. The evening starts at 6pm, followed by dinner (free of charge), and short presentations about Freemasonry and several of the Appendage Bodies to include: Blue Lodge, Scottish Rite, York Rite and Shriners. RSVPs to the Tangier Shrine Main office, 402-392-0404 .
Friday, November 13, 2020: Friends Membership Information Dinner hosted at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, 202 South 20th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68102. The evening starts at 6pm, followed by dinner (free of charge), and short presentations about Freemasonry and several of the Appendage Bodies to include: Blue Lodge, Scottish Rite, York Rite and Shriners. RSVPs to the Scottish Rite Main office, 402-342-1300.
Saturday, December 12: Fall Ceremonial
COLD SANDS: Starting in 2020, we will hold ONE monthly Cold Sands. The 2020 Cold Sands are currently scheduled to take place at 7 pm after the second Divan meeting of each month. Show time is NLT 6:45pm, 6:30pm preferred. This allows time for in-processing, completing any paperwork and Fez sizing.
The new Nobles Lady and family are welcome for the Fezzing following the obligation (Shriners only).
Here are the tentative Cold Sands dates for 2020 (Please verify date and RSVP with the Tangier Office):
April: No Colds Sands
May 27: Cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
June 24: Cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
December: To be determined
Please remember, all new Nobles must have successfully completed their Master Mason proficiency prior to Cold Sand or Ceremonials.

Bars will be awarded:
First 1000 Points: Tangier Shrine Medallion and Green Rope
Second 600 Points: 1st Diamond
Third 600 Points: 2nd Diamond
Fourth 600 Points: 3rd Diamond and Yellow Rope
Fifth 600 Points: 4th Diamond
Sixth 600 Points: 5th Diamond and Red Rope
Final 800 Points: Red Rope All Rubies
Each additional 750 Points: Membership Bar
